Bulgaria Energy Transition – Strategy Meeting

Pangea leadership was represented Monday February 14, 2022 at a roundtable discussion with Senior Bulgarian policymakers who were visiting Washington DC to garner support for Bulgaria’s Energy Transition and Security especially in light of the current Russia-Ukraine crisis.  The Embassy had identified Pangea and its partner Baker Hughes as priority companies to join this meeting with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds/Minister of Finance Assen Vassilev and Bulgarian Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov. Pangea later met in a private meeting on the 15th with Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister to discuss economic development issues. AmCham Bulgaria Representative Ivo Konstantinov speaks to representatives of several companies including Pangea’s own Dan Bicz regarding strategic approaches for Energy Transition in Bulgaria.  In attendance were Principals from; AES, Baker Hughes, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobile, GE Power, VMWare, Jacobs Engineering, and X-Energy. Early this year, Pangea was given the opportunity by the Michigan Green Healthcare Committee to present, "Making Your Medical Waste Green". This presentation was led by our Clean Waste Systems sales Representative, Steve Wainstock, and Filtration Subject Matter Expert, Mickey Walsh.
