Flue gas desulfurization systems which use lime or limestone as a reagent is the current industry standard throughout the world for control of Sulfur Dioxide. SOis a toxic gas and a by-product of burning fossil fuels. This system (FGD) generates liquid and solid waste that is highly corrosive and toxic.

The Efficient Ammonia Based Desulfurization(EADS®) Technology utilized by JET is the 4th generation of EADS® and is capable of meeting the most stringent of global air quality regulations at a significantly lower life cycle cost compared to industry standard Limestone methods.

This system importantly generates no wastewater, which complies with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Steam Electric Power Generating Effluent Guidelines which puts federal limits on the levels of toxic metals in wastewater.

Jet’s EADS® System is able to turn waste into value by converting the recovered sulfur into ammonium sulfate fertilizer.
